The Lyrics

WE'RE BACK...!
I can't 'bide this pealing any longer
I bent my will, I prayed and took my vows
What threatens my new monkship, are these gong-ers
Oh truly bliss would be relinquishing bell-sounds...

No requisat in a pax this convent revers
I swear there’s type O bleeding from my ears
'Cus this peal I endure is an un-ender
My drums would like protection
The cacophony’s severe!

Abstaining is no bother
In poverty delight
I can handle my libido
No obedience I fight
But I’ve been en-cloistered with carillons day and night!

And what a blight: this pealing I abhor
It’s begotten quite a headache, mighty roar
These chimes that ring perpet’chly don’t adore
I’m so afraid my ears...will sever

'Cus no delight’s this pealing anymore
Reverb'ration’s once imparted can't ignore
Oh Bishop stop this squalling I implore
I rash acts may explore
Padre, I can’t bide this pealing anymore

My anvil, hammer and stirrups have become goo
It’s been stunning auriolas - so unkind
My head always rings with a bellowing unfurled
Gonna leap down from the belfry if those tones don’t cease to wind

Forgive me as I ponder eus-tach-ian-ish blight
Chimes have vandalized my cochlea and now what I hear is slight
Though I overdose on them eardrops, don’t make it right...

'Cus I can’t 'bide this pealing anymore
It’s so rotten, this tintinn’bulating bore
It’s my tympanic membranes that’s been gored
They’ve slowed - won’t work no more - forever
'Cus I can’t ‘bide this pealing and I fear
It’s those clappers that disheartened my career
Ask not for whom it tolls, for thee my frere
Comes tinnitus, in ear
Abbot, I can’t 'bide this pealing, I declare

-scratches head- You kinda lost me on this one guys... I did like the line "I swear there’s type O bleeding from my ears" but a lot of this make me just feel dumb for not understanding what the heck you were talking about.

Didn't do well in high school anatomy, Matty?

Welcome back, M&P. The bells shall ring 555 times for your return.

McKludge... Actually I never took it. So that's probably where I was hopelessly lost.

First, there is nothing but a slow growing scream
When your eardrum's been pried, can't abide -- unkind!
'Neath the throne, I have tried: cotton plugs stuffed inside
Almost hurled as bells peal, Hades' groan

Well, I hear the muse, sick; stifle cries; practice "rhythm" --
--They expound; "may not hold private part"

What a pealin'!
Pealin' is grievin!
I cant' stand it all; eardrum: chancin' cut like knife
On His Passion, you fakes are crappin'
Ringin' bells is jive; feel askance at all this strife....

(nothing less would be a fitting "welcome back" :)

@ Matthias: The "auriola" is the part of the ear that grows erect and goose-pimply when you hear something tit-illating. @ M&P: And ROFL funny sub! ... and FWIW, my tympanic membranes are pretty sick of Al Gore, too.
Also good working in the John Donne/Ernest Hemingway quote. (What's a Hemingway? According to Thomas Jefferson, Sally was about 115 lbs.) Going downhill rapidly, I think I'm Donne here.... earnestly....
