In 1987, two songs with very repetitive lyrics came out - George Harrison's "Got My Mind Set on You" and R.E.M.'s "The One I Love". Both became major hits, and the former was parodied for its lyrics by "Weird Al" Yankovic as "(This Song's Just) Six Words Long" a year later. This parody of "The One I Love" is in the mold of Weird Al's George Harrison parody. It is in jest and I actually enjoy the R.E.M. song.
