The Lyrics

I wrote this song 2 weeks ago...hope you like it and yes I can sound Michil Stipe when I sing this, can you ? Oh, before I ferget Lund is ovesly Robert Lund
(chorus)
Spaff in the place where you live
Now face Work
Think about song spoofin’
Wonder why you haven't
Now Spaff on your Ipod at work
Now he’s the best
Think about Spaff’s parody stuff
Wonder why you haven't before

If you are confused, go on www.spaff.com
Cruise the site to help you understand the song
Your feet are going to be dancing all around
Lund is here to make the famous Spaff sound, so

(repeat chorus)
“Spaff in the place where you live
Now face Work
Think about song spoofin’
Wonder why you haven't
Now Spaff on your Ipod at work
Now he’s the best
Think about Spaff’s parody stuff
Wonder why you haven't before”

Your feet are going to be dancing all around
Lund is here to help make the famous Spaff sound
If songs weren’t funny, Spaff’s job would be failing
Listen to reason
Spaff & Lund are calling
(repeat chorus)

“Spaff in the place where you live
Now face Work
Think about song spoofin’
Wonder why you haven't
Now Spaff on your Ipod at work
Now he’s the best
Think about Spaff’s parody stuff
Wonder why you haven't before”

If songs weren’t funny, Spaff’s job would be failing
Listen to reason
Spaff & Lund are calling
Your feet are going to be on the ground
Your head is there to move you around

Oh, Spaff (Spaff)
Now jog North
Think about a parody-nation
Wonder why you haven't
Now Spaff (Spaff)
Now he’s the best
Think about Spaff in the place where you live
Wonder why you haven't

(repeat chorus)
“Spaff on your computer in the place where you live
Now face Work
Think about song spoofin’
Wonder why you haven't
Now Spaff on your Ipod at work
Now he’s the best
Think about Spaff’s parody stuff
Wonder why you haven't before”

Spaff playing in the place where you are (on Ipod)
Spaff playing in the place where you are (now he’s the best)
Lund is here to help make the famous Spaff sound (Spaff on your Ipod at work)
He’s just as good as “Weird Al” all around, so....
SPAFF!!!

Hope you liked it!!

I don't know who the moron is who voted 555, but I'm giving 122. You crammed in SO many extra syllables it's annoying, and of course, there's the repitition. "You dropped a bomb on AmiRight, baby."
Spoof-Man - July 21, 2007 - Report this comment
Sorry Jon, I think the song is great...I didn't put any "extra syllables " in the song, The song is good, maby your not an REM fan, to bad I didn't reallydrop any bombs that time or this time eather becuse the bomb thing would make a hole lot more sence if I did.

Also, a tribute to one of the best authors, and recorders, on the site. . .claps from me--even if pacing could use some work.

Pacing could've used a bit more work, but a worthy tribute to the great man.

Dave and pieman already mentioned the pacing blips, but they aren't too bad. Nice tribute to the Spaffster, Spoof-Man. You caught the backing vocals and did the whole song, so I know you listened to TOS to make this. >^^^^^really bites tongue at this point, goes to submit comment...

Thanks, Dave, pieman, Jon, Red and Ann for the comments on the song. Red: Yes I did leson to the TOS to make this, but if you don't mind me asking what dose "really bites tongue at this point, goes to submit comment..." mean? I know you have a good reson to put that in your comment I just sadly don't get it. Thanks agian and I hope Spaff reads this. -Spoof

I don't know who the moron is who voted 122 - oh, wait, yes I do. Thanks for paying attention to my stuff, Spoof-Man, and for the lovely tribute. I've been kinda trying a parody of "Stand," too, so I know how challenging this one is. I need to pimp Jack Wilson here too:

Thanks again!

I don't know who the moron is who needs to pimp Jack Wilson- oh, wait, yes I do, Thanks for the comment Spaff and yes the soing is challenging, but I can't wait to for yours, The hard part is that “Weird Al” has done a great "Stand" parody a good while back called "Spam" and if you take to much of his idea's people will thank your copying Al witch I'll never do with out using a tittle idea but the words would be written my me. It's hard when one of the best allready made a parody of a song your trying to parody and make it just as good. Thanks agian Spaff and good luck with your "Stand" parody.,

I really, really wanted to five this one, but I just couldn't. The mistakes weren't enough to wreck a nice tribute, but they were enough to blow a perfect score. The spirit was willing, but...
Agrimorfee - July 23, 2007 - Report this comment
Let me add a 454 to this. I think a lot of us were thrown off by that last word that gets muffled by the next line, appearing in every 4 lines of the chorus. You also used 2 lines from the OS verbatim...but otherwise this was a very nicely done tribute.
Spoof-Man - July 24, 2007 - Report this comment
Thanks Michael, & Agrimorfee... Michle: I'm glad your commit was also was not enough to wreck a nice tribute. Agrimorfee : thanks for the 454 and the tips on how the improve the song pacing, they will be used in ferther tributs.
