Many species of turtles are vegans, and turtles are known to live much longer than most other animals. Coincidence? I think not... and enjoy a bit of seaweed myself now and then.
DKTOS, so can't judge the pacing, but it looks like you're trying to make the parody title scan to OS title. That's not required, but it's extra credit if done well. If so, there are two extra syllables in parody title (count them).

and to get really fancy:
"Vegan: Long Life, Guarantor"
Try it yourself, and you'll find many more possibilities. ... along with varying some of the lines and choruses more.
