The Lyrics

I Know that Brendan Gaughan won the pole
But Carl Edwards took over on Lap 7
Giving Gaughan in second

Mike Bliss got wrecked on Lap 10
As He Spun on Turn 4
Oh, how could I have known
That the Texas Twister found the rear of the wall

Whoa-oa
KEVIN HARVICK
Wanted to win at Bristol
KEVIN HARVICK
Will have his 33rd Nationwide win
Harvick won the first time
in a Nationwide Car

Morgan Shepherd, Marc Davis and Jason Keller
Couldn't Avoid Each Other
So What About Justin Allgaier
He Earned a Career High 5th Place Finish
Kyle Busch led more than
half of the race but a late pit road error
as a tire taken off the right rear wheel

Whoa-oa
KEVIN HARVICK
Wanted to win at Bristol
KEVIN HARVICK
Will have his 33rd Nationwide race win
Harvick won the first time in a Nationwide Car
in Bristol

And Kevin Harvick keeping on in the final lap
And He went to the Start/Finish Line

And..
KEVIN HARVICK
Has won the Scott's Turf Builder 300
KEVIN HARVICK
He had his 33rd Nationwide race win
Harvick won the first time in a Nationwide Car
in Bristol

I think I am more mystified by the song choice than I am by the pacing, or lack thereof. A car race set to a romantic ballad? That's like Ernest Tubb at a Guns 'n' Roses concert!

I agree with TR. This author wrote a few (actually VERY FEW) fairly good parodies, but the vast majority lacked pacing, humor and enjoyability. I have read poo parodies and extremely conservative political parodies that are more enjoyable and better-written than these. 1s.
