If tomorrow all the gold was gone,
that earned our state it's fame.
And we had to pay 5 bucks for gas,
well it's almost just the same.
Then I'd thank my lucky stars
to be living here today.
Cause the flag's still got a grizzly bear
and Arnold can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be Californian,
where the oceans close to me.
And I wont forget the men who made
it a state in 1850.

And I'll proudly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,

From the cystal blue Lake Tahoe,
to the desert of Mojave.
Across the wine drinkers of Napa,
and the Mendocino hippies.
From San Jose to San Diego,
from S.F. to L.A.,
We all take pride in being only the second state,
to say all marriage is O.K.

Yes we're proud to be Californian,
