Pepe the Frog, parodied from Beautiful Girl by Jose Mari Chan, is probably a tribute song to Pepe the Frog, a famous internet meme based from Matt Furie's comic Boy's Club. Some say it was part of a campaign to "save Pepe", but there was no evidence Silento (TheVirtualSteampunk88) wrote this song to support Matt Furie's campaign. The song praises the values of friendship and creativity and pokes fun at most 4chan users, chiefly users from /pol/ and /r9k/ using Pepe as their mascot.
