Folks just don't work hard like they used to
can't get good help here anymore

They say I don't pay decent wages
I just can't afford it, I won't give away the store, I can't pay
Now all I have left is some cows, pigs, chicks and my ducks
Now that my farm is in bankruptcy

Tyson Farms bought up the chickens, now they'll be fried
Farmer John said he that he would take my pigs
And this new Chinese restaurant down at the strip mall
said my ducklings will sure "make a very fine feast"

I hope it gives them indigestion
I would keep my ducklings but I just can't afford it today
Now all I'll have left is some pigs since they ate my ducks
And soon my cows will be beef steaks

Hope they rot as they sit there in the grocery store
Hope there is a lot of fat between their bones
When they are in your mouth hope that the taste will gross ya'
Hope with each bite you take you hear them moan

They'll surely give you indigestion
Well, that's what I'm hoping, it was a bitch to lose my farm today
I sure do miss my all my cows, pigs and chicks and, of course, my ducks
