I originally was intending to put this thought down as a comment on Dylan Baranski's parody of the very same Jefferson Starship masterpiece (Badoom tsssh!). Then I realized I could do it as a parody. As you get older your ladies are going put on weight, so you just roll with it. (Wa wa waa WAAAH!)) And it's not even a conscious decision to roll with it; you adjust to it without even thinking. It helps that some of that weight settles in a good place.

It's a great OS to parody, Jonathan. It's really catchy and super cheesy by turns. The refrain has a great melody, but man, some of those lyrics are amateurish to the hilt. And what's with making summer-of-love, psychedelic rock legend Grace Slick share the singing duties with some anonymous male rock-twink? Just let Grace sing the whole damn thing, 'kay guys?

Lennie - Lol! I'm sure Ms. Slick herself would agree with you, there! I understand she wasn't particularly fond of the whole "Starship" era. as for me, I love the music of both the 60s, and the 80s. but I've gotta say, I actually prefer this group's 80s output. (probably not popular opinion, I know.) then again, what do I know about good music? "Achy Breaky Heart" was ranked as the second-worst song of all time. the only one that was named worse than that, was this OS! but I love them both!
