Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Oomox = Ferengi earlobe massage. A very sensual act and held in high regard by the greedy Ferengi. For further information see chapters seven, nine, ten, eleven, fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, nineteen, twentyone to eightyfour and then almost all the rest in their version of Kama Sutra. :-)
FERENGI MALE:
You were cleaning Dabo tables on Ferengi Prime
When I bought you
I picked you out, I took you home, and raised you a class
Put you in my Geisha crew
Now five years later on youŽve lost your grip of the job
Your touch is not so human no more
But donŽt forget itŽs me who own the rights to your ass
And I can shut your good time door

Give, give me oomox!
You know I canŽt believe it when I hear that youŽre complaining!
Give, give me oomox!
You know I spent a fortune when youŽre sent to oomox training
YouŽre worth your weight in gold-
pressed latinum, if sold
You better give me oomox or youŽll sure be sorry

Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!
Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!

HUMAN FEMALE:
I was drifting in a shuttle in the neutral zone
When you caught me
I learnt from all the brainwash and your laser whip cracks
Never will you set me free
The five years I have spent hereŽs been a mission to Hell
I loathe your ears!
And now I think I wanna clean the clock with your wax
I can not take another year!

No! No more oomox!
You know I canŽt believe the way you treat your acquisition
No! No more oomox!
You know I think IŽll rather give you earlobe circumcision
I never had your ear
That smile you give is sneer
You better set me free or we will both be sorry

ThereŽll be no more oomox! I donŽt wanna - No!
ThereŽll be no more oomox! I ainŽt gonna - No!

FERENGI MALE:
Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!
Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!

HUMAN FEMALE:
ThereŽll be no more oomox! I donŽt wanna - No!
ThereŽll be no more oomox! I ainŽt gonna - No!

FERENGI MALE:
Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!
Give me oomox Human! Give me oomox - now!

HUMAN FEMALE:
ThereŽll be no more oomox! I donŽt wanna - No!
ThereŽll be no more oomox! I ainŽt gonna - No!

I am slightly disturbed that I actually knew what "Oomox" was even before I read your intro. Damn nerd complex.

But see, you gotta spell it "HEW-mon"... ;-)

Rice - This is your second reference to Nerd and Ferengi. You made a simular comment on my parody. Could you explain the correlation between Nerds and Ferengi? I probably saw every deep space nine episode ever filmed and I don't get it. And I knew what oomox was too. But I don't know this song. It reads like fun but I'll have to get a wav or mp3 or something before I can vote on it.

Oh, I'm a Trekkie too...I'm a self-ascribed nerd ;-) I followed DS9 up until the fifth season (right before they escalated into full-on war) but I'm catching up bit by bit :-)

Hi guys! Thanx for the comments. I guess my muse was stroking my lobes so much when I wrote it that I forgot to spell it Hewmon, the way Guy did in his Ferengi song just a couple of days ago. As for the original it was one of the first (some would say THE first) synth-pop hits in the early 80s. DonŽt be surprised if you recognize it after downloading. And as for nerdy references; did anyone of you recognize the borrowed bit in the intro? :-)

A perfect score. But one of the Rules of Acquisition is (or should be) a perfect score and the Internet wires it arrives on are worth the wires. One note, though: You could've used the actual name of the Ferengi homeworld, Ferenginar, and used the same number of syllables as "Ferengi Prime." The Pacing Police would approve, whether or not Security Chief Odo does. I know what that sounds like, but there is a difference: "Trekkers" (like me) love Star Trek, while "Trekkies" are the ones who go to conventions in show/film costume. I even heard the word "Trekkist" once. Yeah.

Michael, I had to change the name so that no homeworld Ferengi will try to sue me for slander. **Wipes sweat off forehead and mutters to himself: "That was close, nice save"** :-)
