The Lyrics

This song is one of the last project 2 parodies, AmIRight Ages has started, so alas, I must get the two remaining parodies out the way. . As Always Hear Power of Tax for free!
The Power of Tax is a serious thing
It can build your roads, but it always stings
If you're caught lying about income
Audit's coming, that's the Power of Tax

Thicker than Bibles, and it's never clean
More rules and exceptions than a math geeks dreams
itemizing works, sometimes it hurts
Power of Tax will make you scream at night

Lifetime credit, I R A s
Maybe a Schedule A if you track your game
Date's always coming and it hurts sometimes
But you don't want the late fines
That's the Power of Tax

That's the Power of Tax

First time you owe it may make you mad
Next time claim zero it won't be so bad
So take some time, babe Don't clown around
It's the Power that makes our economy sound

Own a business, keep receipts
Don't forget anything for your Schedule C
Stocks can be tricky but their cool sometimes
Let the Block dudes save your life.

You think the I R S ain't fair
That's not here or there
Cause they know what to do
When you are a widow too
And with a little help from the Block
You'll feel the Power of Tax

You'll feel the Power of Tax

Can you feel it

10 99, that's just fine
Even to overpay they never whine
Smarter than Amscot and costs less than Hewitt
They won't steal nothing, they're for real
They know the Power
They know the Power of Tax

It's the Power
It's the Power of Tax
They know the Power of Tax
They know the Power of Tax

They know the Power of Tax

Check it out, we got another winner! 5-5-5 all the way to the Federal Reserve! I'm thinking of parodying this song myself. Perhaps this parody could be used as the theme song for a Back to the Future parody called "Tax to the Future".
