Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Britney, Christina, and Jessica
All can't sing at all, they stink
And all the boy bands obviously have
Never hit puberty
When their so called music comes on the radio
I immediately turn it off
The music behind them doesn't have rhythm
How do people like this stuff

I say the heart of new music isn't beating
It's been long dead, no more breathing
The old music was much better, I think
Yeah the heart of new music, heart of new music isn't beating

50 cent, P Diddy, and Jay-Z
Are part of the new rap crap, see
All they do is cuss into the mike
And get paid lots of money
Who would call this music
It just makes you sick
To hear them talk about their life
While you hear in the distance a rhythm
Hearing this stuff will give you strife

I say the heart of new music isn't beating
It's been long dead, no more breathing
The old music was much better, I think
Yeah the heart of new music, heart of new music isn't beating

Nickelback, Metallica, Linkin Park, all part of modern rock
Where is the music, there's just distortion, and disturbing lyrics shock
The nerve to call it music, what a big stink this whole noise now makes
It makes you wanna cover your ears, or else you'll get real bad headaches

I say the heart of new music isn't beating
You know country music also stinks
It's always extremely depressing
And the music they use, yeah the music they use is annoying

I say the heart of new music isn't beating
It's been long dead, no more breathing
The old music was much better, I think
Yeah the heart of new music, heart of new music isn't beating

This parody has hit the nail on it's head!Case in point: when VH1 put out its list of the 100 Greatest Songs of Rock, the ONLY song on it from the1990"s-forward was "Smells like Teen Spirit"by Nirvana.Seems like no one is even trying to put out the REALLY good anymore--COME ON !All you Boy Bands, dish out the "Respect",you Pop Princesses, come on,"Light my fire!"and the new-age rappers, show me some "Satisfaction"already!Lisa Marie, you may got the looks, but compare to your dad,"You ain't nothin' but a Hound Dog"! If there are no more good, memorable, original songs out there, then how will there be any good parodies out there as well? Oh!Before I forget -Great Job 5's all the way!

555. I agree. Smells like no talent.

I totally agree. Most of the songs nowadays are all pretty much the same, and nobody really stays in the charts for long. Besides, it seems like talent doesn't count for much nowadays. These so called artists can sell records just by posing naked and/or swearing like a trooper (see any of the more recent Britney videos or listen to any of Eminems songs and you will see what I mean). Anyway, that's my rant for today! 555
