Note: the Gestapo and Allgemeine SS ALWAYS had leather gloves wherever they went. Besides the Heer and Waffen SS, the Luftwaffe pilots and Paras, as well as Kriegsmarine U-boat commanders were issued gloves! At Dachau, human skin gloves were also made. Skin taken from the backs and chests were treated with chemicals and then left to dry out. After that were fashioned into handbags, purses, and other things like gloves. The gloves were then dyed and insulated.
