Note: This only has SPOILERS for true SW fans who know the trilogies AND who are following Ep VII. I did this chronologically per the film. I think I know the ending but won't say. For SW fans, between EPs 8-9 are 3 other SW films based on the new characters set for each other year: '16, '18, and '20!!! Disney's Marvel as has 2 more for next year- "Gambit" and a different kind of Spiderman where six villains take him on. It's called "Sinister Six!"

I think that the third trailer and official poster give it away. Rey is at the core fighting Darth Revan (aka Kylo Ren). The trailer shows Ren mourning Vader and vowing to avenge which is personal. Rey fights him with Luke's light saber. Who are they then as they are the same age? Jaina and Jacen Solo. In the books, Jacen turned to the dark side and became Darth Caedus by 40 ABY. Jaina had to fight him. This happens in Ep VII at 30 ABY. Darth Vader is obviously their grandfather and Luke is their uncle. Han and Leia are their parents. Like Luke and Leia they were separated soon after birth (Leia went to Alderan and Luke to Tattooine). Star Wars has always been a family saga with the Force. The only persons of interest to me of unknown origin are female Captain Phasma (J.J. Abrams borrowed from the movie Phantasm) and the greatest star pilot in the galaxy- Black Leader Poe Dameron who flies the new T70 X-Wing! Phasma is after Finn, the black Stormtrooper of the First Order. Poe will attack Starkiller Base against Grand Master Snokes and General Hux.
