"Super Flanker"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Super-maneuverable flight
Thrust-vectoring nozzle type
FBW controls
Hits Mach 2.34
Sukhoi upgrading
A Gen-5 so cool
Like no MiG had ever been before

So many have paid to see
At air shows
Somersault 360o
Maneuvers so wild
Gained instant fame
With “Cobra” and “Chakra”
“Tailslide” and “Stander”
If it's fighters you love
This one you don't want to spar

(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Sukhoi's toy
Al-Li alloy Rus'
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
The Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Sukhoi's toy
Zero IAS- Oh F-ck!!! (Standing Up)
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
The Super Flanker

Lyulkas- 16 tons- two
AL-37FU
It can withstand
Maneuvers that could tear a Raptor apart
Fore and aft radars
Track 20 targets in air
Many missiles this beast can cart

(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Sukhoi's toy
Al-Li alloy Rus'
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
The Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Sukhoi's toy
Zero IAS- Oh F-ck!!! (Standing Up)
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
The Super Flanker

Whooooah!
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Here it comes
Sukhoi's toy
Al-Li alloy Rus'
(Whoa-oh, here it comes)
(Oh F-ck) The Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
(The Super Flanker)
Al-Li alloy Rus'
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Here it comes, the Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
(Oh F-ck)
Super-maneuverable flight
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Here it comes
The Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Here it comes
Sukhoi's toy, Sukhoi's joy
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
Mod stabs out, stabs out
No flame outs, flame outs
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
(Superbad) The Super Flanker
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
(The Super Flanker)
Fore and aft radars, 300o
(Oh-oh, here it comes)
The Super Flanker

At last: what we've all been waiting for.

Nice one LG. There are 21 aviation terms and linked history here but no footnotes. I wrote this off the top of my head and understand all of them. In military terminology I reign here. Would love to see the high vets (military included) write better in my realm. The Super Flanker was a tech demonstrator derived from the Su-27 and latter Su-35. A heart stopper at air shows, the tech is being utilized in other Sukhoi projects. No US fighter or Euro-canard comes close to the impossible maneuvers that the Flanker family can do all day long... they would be ripped apart in mid-air, stall, or go into uncontrollable spin. The Su-47 Berkut FSW demonstrator is even more impressive. Both the inferior F-22 and bug-ridden non-operational F-35 are junk compared to the Flanker family. And to add insult to injury the USAF lost to the Luftwaffe in the F-22 against the Eurofighter Typhoon in friendly air combat simulation. Under Obama the USAF is slated to lose the A-10, KC-10, and even numbers of F-15C aircraft. Drone reliance is hated by all the US fighter drivers. Not your daddy's Air Force anymore. In fact, the USAF hasn't fought a real adversary since Vietnam. Small nations using junk Soviet era export aircraft with conscript pilots under ground control do not count from Reagan to Obama. Even so the Serbs nailed a F-117 with Czech Tamera anti-stealth radar in the 1990s. An Iraqi MiG-31 took out Predators in OIF. And US drones have been shot down by Iran while spying. Sad..

I looked up a couple of videos on youtube. Very impressive maneuvers. Is this a production aircraft or a special testbed flown by an above-average pilot? I saw two of the last A-10's fly over my place a couple weeks ago. They turned up on TV Sunday during half-time of the Chief's game. I've heard the F-22 has problems supplying oxygen to its pilot. That would seem to be a routine design requirement that was worked out in WWII. Future fighter pilots will be videogamers working from home. Obesity instead of G-Forces to contend with.

Patrick, the Su-37 Super Flankers were two technology demonstrators meant to be used towards future Sukhoi production machines of the Sukhoi family. The Super Flanker has superior radars fore and aft, 12 hardpoints to carry 9 tons of weaponry in various configurations plus a 30mm cannon, all glass cockpit, 2D TVC nozzles, and is made of Aluminium-Lithium plus composite construction. The plane can stand on its tail with Zero Indicated Air Speed and turn in mid-air. It can do somersaults, backwards flight like a helo, Cobra and Chakra maneuvers, and incredicle angles of attack and loops. It is ultra-agile, better than anything the US or Europe makes. MiG, however, has now awoken with the MiG-41 Mach 4.3 interceptor and Skat UCAV.
