The Lyrics

I have nothing against the homeless; in fact, I support charities that take care of them and also do so personally almost everyday when I take my walks. But some are in need and others are cons (especially the ones that hang-out near convenience stores or smell of liquor). I usually get a sense of who's honest and when I'm being played. God bless the people in need, but those that practice deception for drug money, cigs, booze, and sex... no thanks!
They’re begging all day and night
The poor and hungry types
More than a few
I've seen them by the scores
Pleading and begging
Oh, they’re countin’ on you
To hand out a few bucks more

See them up and down the street
Pushin’ carts
Need something to eat
Livin’ in the wild
Some are deranged
As they approach you where you are
Clothes are in tatters
Near the Freeways they love
Begging coinage from your car

(Oh-no, here they come)
No surprise
They’ll hit you up
(Oh-no, here they come)
They are panhandlers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
No surprise
They’ll hit you up
(Oh-no, here they come)
They are panhandlers

Wouldn't give if I were you
They only want cigs and booze
A daily con
Begged income turns poverty into art
“Spare some change?” chatter
The motives are clear
Hard to say “No” when marked

(Oh-no, here they come)
No surprise
They’ll hit you up
(Oh-no, here they come)
They are panhandlers
(Oh-oh, here they come)
No surprise
They’ll hit you up
(Oh-no, here they come)
They are panhandlers

[Instrumental Interlude]

Ooooooooh
(Oh-no, here they come)
Here they come
No surprise
They’ll hit you up
(Uh-oh, here they come)
(Want hand-outs) they are panhandlers
(Oh-no, here they come)
(They are panhandlers)
Ooh, they'll hit you up
(Oh-no, here they come)
Here they come, they are panhandlers
(Oh-no, here they come)
(Want hand-outs)
They‘re begging all day and night, Uh-oh
(Oh-no, here they come)
Here they come
They are panhandlers
(Oh-no, here they come)
(They are panhandlers)
Livin’ in the wild, whoooa
(Oh-no, here they come)
Here they come
No surprise, no surprise
(Oh-no, here they come)
They want hand-outs, bail-outs
Hand-outs, bail-outs
(Oh-no, here they come)
(Yeah, yeah) they are panhandlers
(Oh-no, here they come)
(They are panhandlers)
Pleading and begging, Uh-oh
(Oh-no, here they come)
Yo! they are panhandlers

Nice work here. Around where I live (Central California), there are few homeless people in true need and almost all of them are begging for drug, hooker, booze or cig money. I don't give ANY of them anything because I don't believe in money for nothing, they can just go through Goodwill Industries or Labor Ready for work or apply for veteran's pensions/disability if they really want money as far as I'm concerned. I've been assaulted, stolen from and robbed before, my pets poisoned and my house & car vandalized by the ones not truly in need since I don't want to contribute to their habits. 5s.
