who's Jeopardy obsessed.
He said an Archivist quit because she got called as a contestant.
I said I'd love to help your plight.
So I agreed to come on as an archivist.
To transcribe the answers and questions ri-i-ight.

I thought Cool--I'd save their trouble now.
I entered all the clues.
And when it came to the Daily double now,
I knew the procedure to use.
I put a check in the Daily Double box.
Filled in the wager in the right place.
And when the score on the web page matched the one on the TV screen,
I really had a smile on my face, yeah, yeah.

Phil, you have so much to do. Every Friday night, you have to transcribe every single word of every single clue. You have to record every response given by the contestants. You have to tell who buzzed in and whether or not they responded correctly. You have to add in any supplementary information given by Alex Trebek. You have to check your spelling against the caption file, and if you're wrong, you'll get correction suggestions fired at you from all over the Internet. YOU'RE A JEOPARDY ARCHIIVIST!

So, I record Jeopardy on a DVDRW, and archive it
every Friday night.
Maybe I should volunteer for TPIR.TV
and do statistics for the Price Is Right-ight-ight.
