Once more from "The Beginning"! Deserved tribute from a fine writer. ;D
It's all Greek to me, or Aramaic (two of the languages in which Genesis and the other books, both Old and New, were written), knowing neither TOS or the events described. Again, good writing technique, and thanks for the plug. Maybe someday, we'll get on the same page, LOL. Will spot you Fives in honor of Genesis' induction (and flattery gets you everywhere too, wink. ;)
Thanks Ribber and TT. TT, the original was a big Genesis hit, and apart from the history of the band, the events were me imagining them at the Hall of Fame before it happened.
Nice inspiration you had with FG and TT's ABBA tribute and also nice to hear it from a Genesis perspective. Loved the way you came up with Peter getting shocked by a monkey and most 80's rock bands mentioned in this song! This is perfect satire to sing at the VH1 Hall Of Fame like shows!
