The Lyrics

I'm actually surprised this hasen't been done yet...and i'm thinking of another idea for this song also, so get ready for that...
Fingers hurt with pain, one more song to go
Until he was finished, with his fake rock show
Picked up his nice guitar, he just named it ‘Christine’
But it had five buttons, not the normal six string

When he heard guitar, he’d begin to play
Would not close his eyes, he had to stay awake

Bought the game at Best Buy, and then he rushed right home
Don’t know how to play for real, but he sure did know

That fake guitar, felt good in his hands
Didn't take long, to understand
That fake guitar, could help him go
From a real big loser, to a real cool bro

So he started playing, he’s never gonna sleep
Gotta keep on playing
He’s gonna show everyone who’s boss

Cause he plays Guitar Hero, he plays day and night
He plays Guitar Hero
With his fake guitar, Guitar Hero
all day and night
Guitar Hero- he'll beat the game tonight

He already beat the game, but he still needed more
Found out they made a second, one that he’ll adore
Got better everyday, he now ruled his domain
When he cleared “Freebird”, made his whole life change

So he keeps on playing, he’s never gonna sleep
And he just keeps playing, he’s gonna show everyone who’s boss

Cause he plays Guitar Hero, plays all day and night
He plays Guitar Hero
Yeah Guitar Hero, all day and night
Guitar Hero, he'll play all three
Beat them all tonight

He just keeps playing
And he can't stop
Gotta keep on playing
That boy has got to be on top

Cause he plays Guitar Hero, plays day and night
He plays Guitar Hero
With his fake guitar
Guitar Hero, all day and night

C'mon he just plays Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero, he plays all day and night
All day and night

My gut reaction was, "Wow, I'm surprised no one's done this yet!" So your top comment was funny. I don't want to take away from you though, great idea for the song and good job doing it first. And good job on the song itself :)

I'm waiting for the day when Activision links up with MTV or VH1 and creates the "Guitar Hero LIVE!" tour, featuring acts from the game like Poison, the Scorpions, Motorhead. The kids will eat it up.

555 for interesting parody, but this maid has enough trouble just commenting on am-I-right !!

Good parody . . .but, I am inconcievably jealous that I was JUST about to work this idea, and lo and behold, it's been snatched up. *sigh* First, "The Sounds Of Sirens" and now this. It's almost as if you guys are telepathic.

I actually thought of making a Jukebox Hero parody called Guitar Hero. I didn't go through with it, yet. Then, I decided to google Jukebox Hero lyrics parody to see what was on amiright.com (if anything) and there it was! Good job, my friend :)
