The Lyrics

seems like heaven's been in need of some awesome voices, lately. as now, we've lost the great Glen Campbell! so, I'd like to open this parody, with a dedication to his memory.
R.I.P. Glen Campbell: 1936-2017: thanks for the great music!
one of my faves by the man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxSarBcsKLU
the song I'm actually parodying: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sw54Pdh_m8
this parody concerns a man who, in a moment of panic, does one of those "bee dances." I'm sure anyone with a fear of bees knows. anyway, his former girlfriend sees the wild moves, and believes that the man has gone crazy! hence the title. please enjoy!
I can't help the way I flail
when bee's near, epic fail

told her friends I've lost my mind
tried explaining, but no time
now she'll never talk to me
I swear that I'll kill that bee

She Thinks I'm Crazy
(waa-haa!)
thinks I see elves
(waa-haa!)
She Thinks I'm Crazy
made a fool of myself

threatens me, with arrest
"go away! you're obsessed!"
wish she'd not seen my bee-dance
now I can't get in her pants
my fear has got me so screwed
went all wrong, oh, what to do?

She Thinks I'm Crazy
(waa-haa!)
thinks I see elves
(waa-haa!)
She Thinks I'm Crazy
made a fool of myself

showed up naked, at her home
her response? kick my boyzone!

She Thinks I'm Crazy
(waa-haa!)
thinks I see elves
(waa-haa!)
She Thinks I'm Crazy
made a fool of myself

She Thinks I'm Crazy
(waa-haa!)
thinks I see elves
(waa-haa!)
She Thinks I'm Crazy
made a fool of myself

She Thinks I'm Crazy
(waa-haa!)
thinks I see elves
(waa-haa!)
She Thinks I'm Crazy
made a fool of myself
^ of course, showing up nude to your ex's home WOULD seem a little batty! thanks for reading! and, if you so choose, out of respect for the late, great, Glen Campbell, please name your favorite song of his, in your comment!
also, a little throwback, to when I parodied this OS for thanksgiving!: http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/fineyoungcannibals14.shtml.

You're right, Jonathan "Wichita Lineman" is a beautiful song. I didn't care for that style of music all that much, but WL was something else entirely -- Haunting. I'm pretty sure I can parody that

^ thanks, CML. personally, I'm a fan of older country music, particularly 60s through 90s stuff. but can't stand this Sam Hunt garbage they're playing today! show me someone who says Glen Campbell didn't have an awesome voice, and I'll show you a liar! lol! anyway, I hope you do parody that song, it would be a fitting tribute to one of the greats, and with your wit, I'm sure you could make it into something pretty funny! :)

Glad that you did Glen Campbell. Grew up listening to him because my mom loved Country- REAL Country as you stated. Used to listen to Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, John Denver, Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton John, etc... 555!

thanks 4 the 5s, Rob. and yes, once upon a time, country music had more variety than beer, trucks, sex in trucks, sex WITH trucks, and blah! do you by any chance like Earl Thomas Conley? he was from the '80s, and is probably my all-time favorite country singer!

Another hit parody! Three fives. I have a favor to ask. Can you please do a parody about bad cereal? I can't seem to find anything in the grocery store these days that hits the spot at breakfast time. I usually resort to fluffy eggs with cheese melted on top and a whipped yogurt! TIA

^ thanks, Ben! I will certainly be doing a bad cereal parody in the future! as for next friday, look for that big burger parody you requested! it's coming! :)
