The Lyrics

with thanksgiving just a week away I figured I'd celebrate with an anthem about the food enjoy!
I can't stop although I'm full
foods you cook make me drool

yes it's true I might get fat
but I don't care about that
gonna watch the football game
with my 5th plate of the same

Please Pass The Gravy
(mmm mmm)
like nothing else
(mmm mmm)
Please Pass The Gravy
'cause I can't help myself

won't let my poor mouth rest
smelled all day like a test
now I'm ready to taste those pies
and this comes as no surprise
but I want more casserole
and with that a dinner roll

Please Pass The Gravy
(mmm mmm)
like nothing else
(mmm mmm)
Please Pass The Gravy
'cause I can't help myself

I have waited a whole year
chowing down at last it's here

Please Pass The Gravy
(mmm mmm)
like nothing else
(mmm mmm)
Please Pass The Gravy
'cause I can't help myself

Please Pass The Gravy
(mmm mmm)
like nothing else
(mmm mmm)
Please Pass The Gravy
'cause I can't help myself

Please Pass The Gravy
(mmm mmm)
like nothing else
(mmm mmm)
Please Pass The Gravy
'cause I can't help myself

Jon, delicious-555! Can't wait for T-Day and making my mashed potato volcano to fill with gravy using the stuffing extra as ground and inserting my broccoli as trees- then simulating an eruption! I play with my food and am not a purist when it comes to mixing foods. I also enjoy watching a moron who annually pours his gravy from a boat and STILL manages to splash gravy on his white shirt!!!

Jonathan, I believe your song was first released by the "Fine Young Carnivores". As I recall , it rose to #555 on the charts. And to Rob, what I used to do is make that same reservoir of gravy, then I'd break the Grand Potato Dam and inundate "Cornville" with the great gravy flood ...... And when I was a kid, my mother would make beef stew every Monday for years. So what I would do is smash the beef and potatoes together and form an oblong shape all the way across my plate that I called "The Great Wall of Stew"
