The Lyrics

Hi, guys! Been a while, eh? Well, it's been about a year since my father's health scare. But, I'm happy to report that he is doing MUCH better these days! :) it's also been almost a year since we received word of the tragic passing of amiright favorite and my good internet buddy, Rob Arndt :( which, if I'm being honest, probably effected my drive to write parodies, a little bit. Last, but certainly not least, on April 10th, we lost another great talent, who I regret that I never got to meet in person. I'm speaking of course, of Earl Thomas Conley, himself! Who sadly passed away at the age of 77. On that note, I've decided it's time to get off my duff and complete this parody project! Now, in memory of, in my opinion, the greatest country singer who ever was! During this project, it's come to my attention that a lot of you aren't familiar with his music. I hope to change that and introduce many of you to this man's wonderful music! And now, without further ado:
Remember folks, bigger isn't always better/stronger! :)
OS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt1UGBw9LZY&pbjreload=10
the first time that I met you
I got cocky as could be
thought you a wimp, I called you a shrimp
then you made a fool of me
sucky situation, I found myself in from that fight
'cause you followed through, when I challenged you
a bloody nose, this really bites!

Right In The Parts
I lost some fillings, near Walmart
I'm black and blue, you placed a kick that smarts
Right In The Parts

I still remember you saying:
"You have one chance to go!"
Well, that's not what I did. I got hit, kicked & bit
I guess you told me so…

Right In The Parts
I lost some fillings, near Walmart
I'm black and blue, you placed a kick that smarts
Right In The Parts

and now I'm reminded everyday
by my buddies, with no class
I don't care how much I have to pay
would you please go kick their @$$?

Woah, Right In The Parts
I lost some fillings, near Walmart
I'm black and blue, you placed a kick that smarts

Right In The Parts
I lost some fillings, near Walmart
I'm black and blue, you placed a kick that smarts
Right In The Parts… (fade out)
I dedicate this, as well as all following "Earl Thomas Comedy" parodies, to the memory of the late, great, one and only Earl Thomas Conley: 1941-2019. Thanks for being awesome! And say hello to Rob!
thanks for reading!

^ nice to see ya, Lennie! if you were the source of those 5-votes, thanks a bunch! :) I've been lurking, voting on, but not really commenting on parodies. time for me to start writing more, again! I have to finish this project, as a tribute to ETC, now that he's sadly passed on. and of course, if you got any parody suggestions, please, feel free to throw 'em my way! :)
