I have heard from Yahweh and He wants a deal
So fall to your knees
There is something going on

People gather 'round
King and Prophet are debating
Two small Kings want Ahaz-extermination

If you rely on Jehovah, Shalom

I can't tempt my Sovereign that would just be wrong
Everybody knows this. Izzy, what's your prob-
lem? You just walk up to me.
I don't think your God is the real thing.

That can happen to you when you're filled with doubt
So deep in sin that you see no way out
Ahaz this ain't abstract
You just turned your back on the real thing
 
No more alibi
Ahaz, you just lost forever
Your Kingdom will dissolve
And come back never
Since you did not trust Jehovah, Shalom
Your regime now is ov-ah, Shalom
