Parody Song Title:

"I've Been a Duck Before"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Flap my wings take a dive
When's it gonna rain?
Goin down the drain
Shrivel up inside
Once you don't feel moisture
Flyin's alot harder

I've been a duck before
I've been a duck before
The hardest part is when the pond dries
I've been a duck before
I've been a duck before

Just one drop, would be nice
How bout a raindance?
One small squall would make me feel
Like quacking away
Hear the distant thunder
Ooh, I'm going under

I've been a duck before
I've been a duck before
The hardest part is when the drought comes
I've been a duck before
I've been a duck before

Royce, I think you might be starting to quack up... ;-)

Phil-there's still hope for me; my somewhat reasonable explanation for this is that there's a little pond behind my house that ducks like and I see the water level constantly change with rain amounts.

lol, I think Royce has gone nuts....

No Billy, I think she's just trying to duck the question... (or is that question the duck?)... at least she didn't make the "website" joke ;-)

When I first looked at the title, I thought it said "I've Been A Drunk Before" ....hmmmm.... =) (I'll give you credit for the inspiration)

You want rain, Royce? It's been raining in New Jersey pretty much continuously since March! I'm expecting to turn on WCBS radio and hear Shadow Traffic say, "There's a jacknifed ark on the Turnpike!" (Then again, maybe Noah is just another old man who shouldn't be driving!) Of course, during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, we saw how well Ducks, Mighty though they may be, are treated here. By the way, Malcolm, a mallard is a male duck. (I don't know what the official feminine name is.) I realized I thought Royce was masculine when I first saw her post here, but you've raised more gender-identity questions than any of us, so maybe you should've quit after "starring bill," which also wasn't all it was quacked up to be.
