The Lyrics

Oh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
It must have been something that's sad
He just died this past Tuesday night

He keeps looking for something, but he's dead
Broken hearts lie all around him
As he's being played on the radio (for the first time) since eighty-six
His diary, it sits by the bedside table
(Don't) want his life to close, but he is not able
Who would've thought that a boy like him could come to death

Oh-oh-oh woh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
It must have been something that's sad
He just died this past Tuesday night
Oh-oh-oh woh, oh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
He was famous in '86
He shouldn't have passed away, He shouldn't have passed away

Is there any just cause for not having hits
And a hit single on every playlist
He is now desceased, the Crew's Cutting again
you've lost him now, it's his final mistake
They're loving his hit song, "Died in your arms tonight"
'Cause It's been played on radio one too many times

Oh-oh-oh woh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
It must have been something that's sad
He just died this past Tuesday night
Oh-oh-oh woh, oh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
He was famous in '86
He shouldn't have passed away, He shouldn't have passed away

Kevin Macmichael's dead
That song was so cheesy, Cutting Crew ain't tight
But his life's over, the moment has gone
I followed my earts not my head, I can't stand that song

Oh-oh-oh woh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
It must have been something that's sad
He just died this past Tuesday night
Oh-oh-oh woh, oh he, he just died this past Tuesday night
He was famous in '86
He shouldn't have passed away, He shouldn't have passed away

Some people just don't understand the concept of what vulgarity is, and why their posts get removed because of it.

I think the Kevin MacMichael parody is disgusting. He was a great man...Kind, real honest and very talented. I think whoever wrote this trash is a loser! Diane, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

This is not a parody; a parody implies wit and clever imitation. This is just a cruelly insensitive idiot's attempt at witticism which is obviously a concept beyond his grasp.

Simply tasteless......Kevin has been a great guitarist and also a great personality......so I have to say, that this kind of shit is absolutely unneccessary...hope the author might never suffer in that way, too!

I just have to defend this one. Read it again...not one word of the parody denigrates the intelligence, looks or lifestyle of Mr. MacMmichael. The last line even says that "he shouldn't have passed away." The author has some heartfelt sympathy for this artist. Now as to the original song, "I Just Died In Your Arms", on the other hand....that's a whole different kettle of fish. Chris, here's a 545 for your troubles with a parody that caused so much trouble for you.
