The Lyrics

As a European parody writer I'm mostly following the presidential election in the US from a meme-tic point of view - but noone with Internet access can have missed the right's surprise infatuation with The Donald. How does one put an objective parody spin on that? Well, my muse figured we should try with a famous love ballad.

A YouTube version of the original song can currently be found here.
Oh, thinking about it grinds some gears
Dems had only Hillary
And the road seemed paved and free
Now Jebster won't make out the nominee
GOP's been in that shrub before
But there's Donald now
He keeps on runnin' up the score

Maybe he's all that he flaunts
When he's funny like the whole farm
He's blinding us all as he cleaves
He's The Donald

For president he's on speed
And his moves are state of the art
Enamors the bourgeois
He's The Donald

Oh, runs to be Prez unlike the ones
Who have noses that are brown
String you dry when they have you pwned
Yeah, nothing would shock like his pres'dency
Oooh, there's none he can't outp(l)ay
He just told you now
That his dough will save the day

Maybe a wizard savant
When he's trolling us with his charm
He's pulling it out of his sleeve
He's The Donald

For P-O-T-U-S in lead
As the rest are falling apart
He's The Donald

He has come to pelt along
For nothing he'll take five
A yob who gets it on
As an outsider plays flute
To the cautious and the rads
Yeah, he's out chiming there for you

And winning it all nonchalant
While the others' buying the farm
The media's restless and peeved
By The Donald

To president he'll proceed
For the White House he's got the heart
Bostonian cup of tea
He's The Donald

That very name 'Donald' is now a term for a fascist incestuous raping terrorist crybaby wussy ninny hypocrite p.o.s. who LOVES to get his ass SPANKED and pays the whore hush money. His name is now one of the most HATED in the world. God Bless America and May He Punish This Blaspheming Antichrist Who Does EVIL.

^^^Now who can argue with that? Im glad that some of our newer parodist today to read the above comment because not only is it a sterling example of Trump Derangement gibberish, it also contains 2 statements I can agree with -- "God Bless America" and "he paid the whore hush money."
