Parody Song Title:

"Lockdown Girl"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Slightly autobiographical about my Lockdown habits
Lockdown girl
She's been lonely in the locked down world
I bet she never had to panic buy
I bet she'll give cutting her bangs a try

She's gotta cry as a lockdown girl
She'll be baking tons of bread, rye swirled
She's been stress eating all the carbs she can
Hope she'll be sharing with a locked down man
That's what I am

And her roots show
Her brows grow over time
She don't need makeup
And wakes up past nine

She'll never hear me cough
Cause I wore
Masks and gloves
For a lockdown girl
Can't be too cautious in this locked down world
She’s gotten lazy hasn’t shaved in weeks
She don’t need to ‘til the virus peaks
It’s lockdown chic

Lockdown girl
Can't see her stylist in a locked down world
But then on Monday when her stuff arrives
She'll be receiving red and blue hair dyes
Might change it twice

Well she goes walking
Each day to pass time
And when she's talking
She says that she's fine

She'll never hear me cough
Cause I wore
Masks and gloves
For a lockdown girl
She'll be baking tons of bread, rye swirled
She's been stress eating all the carbs she can
Hope she'll be sharing with a lockdown man
That's what I am

Lockdown girl
She's my lockdown girl
Wear your mask and gloves
With a lockdown girl
My lockdown girl
Wear your mask and gloves
With a lockdown girl
My lockdown girl
Wear your mask and gloves
With a lockdown girl
My lockdown girl
Wear your mask and gloves
With a lockdown girl

Good job. I'm surprised you were able to post all these songs in one weekend. That's one creative hustle. The next song I post will be when one of my songs gets 1,000 hits on this site. Reminds me of one of my own songs Out There.

Thank you! I've been writing them over the last two years mostly about the Pandemic. I just discovered the website and started posting so they weren't all written over one weekend.

Welcome Kim! It's great to see a newbie come here with full barrelled good stuff. Advice: disregard any comments or parodies involving politics--it's what has scared off the good talent (including myself). And disregard the rating votes--they haven't meant anything useful for years thanks to trolls. But my 555 is sincere and true. Constructive advice: strive to change up repetitive choruses with new lyrics each time; it's more fun to read/sing!

Like the other 2 submissions of yours I have commented on - all of the elements are there for a good parody, nailed it again. All of the things that Agri has said I support - just keep doing what you are doing!
