Still have cocaine
Our Grandfathers fought the Second World War
Spend their weekends on Daytona’s shore
Our Grandmothers from the USO
They’re on the roads
Driving too slow
And we’re living here in Florida.
We’re a couple generations down
And it seems like half the men are gay.

Well we’re waiting here in Florida
For the Disney world that we never found
Oh the promises our futures gave
If we wore shoes

So our graduations hang on the wall
Though they never really helped us at all

Call center jobs, wait staff …or steal.

But the corporations bought up the grounds

They put a brand new Quizno’s up in that space
