The Lyrics

Yet another song in my collection of parodies from my project titled; Prospects in Perspective. They're all fangirlishly twisted for my favorite fictional men. Other songs in the collection include; Raoul is the Music in Me, On the Ship Where Carth Lives, Ode to a Dragon Rider, A Heart Full of Guy, Hey There Fiyero, The Hobbit and I, All For Tristan, Chase Means More to Me, and Can't Stop a Titan.
Uptown Doc,
Almost abandoned on a Whitefall block,
I'll bet he's never had a junk-yard gal,
Though he's been punched several times by Mal...

I've got a pal in an uptown doc,
Who's hair is parted, and his eyes are blue,
He's got a gold framed medical degree,
And now he's looking for his own Kaylee
That would be me.

And when he knows what is wrong with his si- i- ster,
And when he shakes up and wakes up that Ri- i- ver,
He'll see he's got the time, all the time,
To be mine.
He's an uptown doc,
You know I've seen him in his surgeon's smock,
He's lookin' finer in that fencing shirt,
And his black shoes, completely free of dirt,
Why do you smirk?

Uptown doc,
Although his manners make the others mock,
His brain works better than a mindless jock's,
Oh yes I feel an electric shock,
For the doc.

And when he's pressing a hand to a wound,
I feel my heart's gonna sail to the moon.

He'll see he's got the time, all the time, to be mine.
He's an uptown doc,
Almost abandoned on a Whitefall block,
He's got a gold framed medical degree,
And now he's looking for his own Kaylee
That would be me.

Uptown doc
He's my uptown doc,
I've got eletric shock,
For the uptown doc,
My uptown doc,
I've got electric shock,
For the uptown doc,
He's my uptown doc...etc...
Is it just me, or are Billy Joel's songs really easy to parody? o.O

Beth I thought this was good but the pacings were just a little off. I agree though Joel's songs are easy to parody that's why there's about 300 of them, so 354 for you good work and keep it up.

Thank you for the rating/comments/advice. =) These were written for some videos I made where I sang them myself, so I kind of sped up/slowed down the parts that don't go with the original pacing. I know I need to work on that, though...
