The Lyrics

As with the rest of the series, it helps if you have a knowledge of LOTR. This one is from Gollum's perspective and talks about what occured in the second LOTR movie/book.
Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is mine
Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is...

Smeagol loves his very special ring
It is his most preciousest of things
How we adores you
We has conspired for you
Now hobbits give it back, the ring is mine

Fat one yanks my chain and makes me fall
Stupid hobbit we hates most of all
We knows about you
Where would master go without you?
Wait 'till we takes it, then the ring is mine

Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is mine
Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is...

I'm that voice you're hearing in your head
When those hobbits both fall into bed
What have you eaten?
Gollum look starved and beaten
That hasn't happened since the ring was mine

Little candles out in the night
Hobbits alright, come follow along
(Gollum)
Murderer, you thief of the ring
(Smeagol)
Not Listening...won't you leave me alone now

Smeagol sees you huddle in the gloom
Does you hobbits want to find a room?
What's with the staring?
Shouldn't you two be despairing?
We wish you would because the ring is mine

We brings back some conies for you
Now what does you do; cooks them in a stew
Stupid fatty hobbits that you are
Now I won't go too far, I must speak with myself now

Soon you will be covered in her string
Then we sneaks up and we takes the ring
I wants it so bad
I think I kind of went mad
But it will not matter when the ring is mine

Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is mine
Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is mine
Woah, oh, oh, oh, (you) know the ring is mine...

(Out-takes)

I wanna sells it
Takes it back and then dispels it

Master misled us
We must go and steal the precious

I wanna smack you
Too bad Smeagol won't attack you
I've got another song dedicated to Smeagol/Gollum in the works that will be significantly more serious than this one.

I especially love the outtakes!!! Oh...who am I kidding? I love the whole thing! Fabulous, 2nz! 5-5-5!

Absolutely perfect! It doesn't hurt that you parodied a song we're singing right now in my a capella group, either.
Adagio - March 23, 2004 - Report this comment
Makes me want to see all the movies again. !!!! 5's

2nz (And Arwen, Adagio and anyone else in the LOTR 'cult') - well, I finally rented "Fellowship" last night and I'm a bit laid up today with a bum knee so I might be watching it this afternoon. Right now I need more sleep. There's so many good looking entries today, I've looked at fraction of them, have to come back later when I'm more awake. Guess I'll wait to vote on this until after viewing in light of 2's comments up above. Hmmm...wait, I just looked at the comment again, that's the 2nd book episode...hmmm, well, after I watch #1 I'll read this and see if I can figure it out. This is all contingent on me staying awake through the movie...I took some pain meds and I'm a bit hazy now. lol to all..

It's a bloody miracle! He's rented the film! I think I'm going to have a stroke! But I'm sorry to hear about the knee problems, Mr. Robinson. In addition to the broken back of which I sing today...I've had several knee injuries. I have felt your pain, my friend. I'm sorry!

2nz, this parody attracted my attention the way the gleam of mithril catches the eye of a Dwarf .... 555

Don't have "the big one" yet, Arwen. I still haven't seen any of the LOTR films. Unless you count those cartoons from about 25 years ago, the one where Frodo looked like Orson Bean (voice by Christopher Guard). Did you know Anthony (C-3PO) Daniels was the voice of Legolas in that one? And here, I thought Meg White was the Lego Lass.

Thank you Agri, Arwen, Nem, Adagio, (preemptive) Paul, Rice, Johnny, and Mike. Glad you enjoyed it :c)

MP...when YOU admit to seeing the films...I'll be hiding under my bed...cradling my extended DVDs and my LOTR Risk game...for I will know that at long last, it is the end of the world.

If Westlife can murder Uptown Girl, then why not Gollum doing 'The Longest Time'?
Just saw "Hildago"... - April 04, 2004 - Report this comment

(ABC) Never did like those movies. This was a well thought out parody though, so I'll give you 5's.

(ABC) A fine effort. I thought this would be to the tune of 'The Boy Is Mine' by Brandy but this was still a good read though I DKTOS.
Paul Robinson - October 17, 2004 - Report this comment
(ABC "T") Well, from what I gleaned from slightly less than half of "Fellowship" (that was the first one, wasn't it???), I understand the story here, and the pacing in fine as well. Not a "Rings" enthusiast, though. 5-4-4 and I will say you crafted it neatly here.

(ABC) Still not seen any LOTR. I'm waiting for MP to admit he's watched them first and if the world don't end I may sneak a peak at number one. I do know the OS very well though and thought this was an excellent write.
