The Lyrics

The Red wedding is the now infamous scene in the Game of Thrones series where the House of Stark is annihilated at a wedding feast held by Walder Frey in retaliation for Robb Stark's breaking an oath to marry one of Walder Frey's daughters
Hey little Sansa, why are you bummed
Hey little Sansa, who's the sawed off one?
Hey, little Sansa, who's your midget man
Hey, little Sansa, have you heard the news
Hey, little Sansa, crossbow
It's a nice day for Starks to end
Its a nice day for a red wedding
It's a nice way for Starks to end

Hey, Lady Catelyn, why'd they bolt the door
Hey Lady Catelyn, what's that music score*
Hey, Lady Catelyn, chain mail, oh sh*t
Hey Lady Catelyn, Roose is not your friend
Hey Lady Catelyn, crossbow
It's a nice day for .. Starks to end
It's a nice day for a red wedding
It's a nice day for Starks to end ... A-A-A-Auggggggggh!

Take 'em down ... Dump 'em in The Fork* yeah!

Hey, Lady Catelyn, what have you done
Hey Lady Catelyn, lost your eldest son (oldest one)
They planned this day for so long (so long)
Played you like chumps for so long (so long)
Sing this in odes for so long
It's a nice day for Starks to end
It's a nice day for a red wedding
It's a nice way for Starks to end

There are oaths to keep in this world
And there's hell to pay in this world
And now Tywin rules in this world
Ary's doomed to roam in this world
Looks like Starks are toast in this world

Come on, it's a nice day for a red wedding
It's a nice day for Starks to end!!
*Just before the killing started the musicians began playing "The Rains of Castamere", a song which commemorates a House of Lannister triumph .... *The Fork -- a fork in the River Trident next to Walder Frey's castle

There's a "Red Wedding" parody already on YouTube, I was listening to it yesterday - this is much better, you've managed to get so much more in it, it's a shame you didn't get there first :-)

..I've just had another idea for a GoT parody, Tom Lehrer style

Thanks, Phil. There's one line, however, I would change if I could -- "Hey little Sansa, bloodbath" -- because she's hearing the news about the massacre

Every so often I get that "should have written xxx instead" feeling - thought of a couple only after recording my one from yesterday, but I'm probably not going to have time to re-record as I want to get the video done for youtube.

CML, best parody today-555! Hey, i miss your slams on Islam... any chance of a political or war parody from you in the near future??? There's so much material: Assad, S-300s, Iran, Al Qaida, Hezbollah, the Golan Heights, Israeli airstrikes, and so on... btw, look out for my next military weapon system being the Merkava 5 tank (4N upgrade-technically) :)

Well sure Rob, I've been thinking of an angle for a parody I've already done, and I believe I've got it down. And now that I've received your kind invitation, I guess I'll get cracking on it.

Well, when I heard about the "Red Wedding", I had "White Wedding" in my head, so this makes perfect sense. Surprise there aren't more such parodies here!

I was surprised that I was the first to get a "Red Wedding" down, Ra'akone -- But once one author does it, everyone else lays off, as we don't wanna be seen as copycats. So the fact that there's only one such parody shouldn't be surprising
