NP Annie. Say, what was your favorite costume as a girl?

I had a cat costume when I was 9 :) My mom sewed a cat tail onto the back of my black leggings, painted my face, I wore a white sweater and I wore cat ears. I liked that. It felt weird to have my tail keep hitting me when I walked though lol. My mom took me out for my first Halloween when I was 4 months old. She dressed me up like a hobo and I fell asleep after 10 minutes lol. They gave her candy just because I was cute and small. There is also a picture of me in the photo album as a bag of popcorn. My home made astronaut suit. I was 5 when we made it to the moon. I watched it on TV in 1969. First TV I remember. Was fascinated by the lunar lander and astronaut suit. So we used up a bunch of cardboard, aluminum foil, painted sponges, Saran wrap, and a motorcycle helmet a neighbor loaned me to make a suit. It was a blast. Later in life as I specialize in the Third Reich I discovered that the Nazis built the first spacesuit in 1942!!! No kidding, made by the Draeger Werke, it survived and is on display in the German Museum. Both the SS and Von Braun had space ambitions. In declassified documents the word Raumjaeger appears in 1945 long before Cosmonaut, Astronaut, and Taikonaut. Raumjaeger means literally Space Hunter. The Germans may have made it into space first as part of a military program with disc craft. They originated the first spaceship and space rocket designs, the first space suits, the first satellite designs, and planned orbiting space station and solar cannon! The Russians and Americans stole everything from them. Space medicine also originates from Dachau. Most Americans would like to forget that- the ones from NACA/ NASA/USAF...

It's OK :) That's pretty interesting. My husband (born in 82) and I (born in 86) both like to learn new things and watch documentaries and such to learn them. We live in Canada. 5 huh? So you're the same age as my dad. That's pretty cool to learn the things you told me. Are you from Germany? Just wondering.
