After months of endless jingling,
Silver bells will make you blue,
And you'll want to shove Saint Nick back up that flue!

Though there won't be snow outside until November here,
The stores are decked with phony trees and lights.
Each blink of Rudolph's nose
Makes irritation grow.
Don't they know it isn't even fall?
