The Lyrics
The OSS T-13 Beano was a spherical baseball shaped grenade used in WW2 mainly at Normandy. It weighed 12 oz and the theory was that since young men were familiar with baseballs growing up in the US, that any American soldier could throw one with ease and accuracy. It didn't work out that way. The grenade was flawed badly. The arming device and pins didn't work out as planned, so pre-detonations occurred often. More troops killed and maimed by the T-13 than by Germans opposing them! Made by Eastman Kodak. Dropped.
