The Lyrics

One Less Unbeliever is an invitational song, roughly equivalent to the way the late Billy Graham would conclude his appearances with the audience singing "Just as I am." Five characters from previous songs reprise their roles. 1) The Philippian jailer, from "Midnight Concertos"; ;2) The Ethiopian eunuch, from "Ethiopia" 3) The Man Born Blind, from "Witness of the Man Born Blind"; 4) Paul, from "We Will, We Will Stone You"; and 5) The woman at the Well, from Jesus Came to Me."
[Philippian Jailer]: I was scared, got out my sword to die
They escaped. I had no alibi
They sang, prayed and other stuff that crossed their mind
They stayed here though the quake had left them unconfined.

[Ethiopian Eunuch]: I had read Isaiah 53
But the truth was very hard to see
But Philip found me on his way to Ethiope
The moment that I prayed I knew that I had hope.

[Together]: We're
Two less unbelievers in the world
Jesus He paid for our sin
Many unbelievers in the world
Hear us as we recommend
In this cursed world everyone does wrong
Jesus always does right
We are two less unbelievers
In the world tonight

[The man born blind]: I was blind, he healed me I believe
[Paul]: I'm ashamed that I threw rocks at Steve
[Woman at the well]: This man told me all the things I ever did
[All Five together]: We testify to you, The Holy Spirit's bid. To
Five less unbelievers in the world
[Solo]: Come right up to make it six
[Five Together]: All the ruined people in the world
Each a life He wants to fix
In a cursed world everything is dark
Jesus promises light
Be a one less unbeliever
In the world tonight

[Spoken Interlude; See Bottom Comments.]

[Entire Choir, including those come forward] (Can we post lyrics on back screen only?):
We were unbelievers in the world
Jesus He paid for our sin
Every unbeliever in the world
Hear us as we recommend
In this cursed world everyone does wrong
Jesus always does right
Is there one more unbeliever
Who will meet with our Redeemer?
Be a one less unbeliever
In the world tonight

We were unbelievers in the world
Jesus He paid for our sin
Every unbeliever in the world
Hear us as we recommend
In this cursed world everyone does wrong
Jesus always does right
Be a one less unbeliever
In the world tonight
The interlude is reserved for actual testimonies: At the Air Supply tempo, there is a ten-second instrumental, followed by a 16-second chorus where the words below in this bracket are sung. In lieu of singing, a predetermined number (say, 4) witnesses should use the ten seconds to line up behind a microphone. Then each witness has 16 seconds to give a spoken (no more than 12 words) testimony of specifically how Jesus worked in his or her life, and hand the microphone off to the next person, as the performance instrumental repeats. The 16 seconds includes the time required to hand off the microphone.
