"All Out Of Blush"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

some like to brag about drag, but first you need to put your face on.
Verse 1: I’m sad in my bones
At my job answ’rin phones
Jobs that you hate are the worst
In ties and dress shoes
A straightjacket or suit?
I’m crazy ‘cuz I feel cursed
But the girl I’m concealing
Is me at my heart
At nights she can shine and she glows
In the dressing room prep
For that triumphant step
See my make-up’s running real low
I can’t do the show

Chorus: I’m all out of blush!
Can’t go on without rouge
My face isn’t right
The cheekbones are all wrong
I’m all in a rush
Cuz no one can watch you
Go to CVS
But I do not have that long

Verse 2: I rummage through my bag
Somewhere in this hole
There may be some extra inside
I’m shaking with fear
As my number draws near
Will they meet Adam or Tanya tonight?
And what would they say
If I went on stage now
With only my eyebrows drawn?
It’s easy to gauge
I’d be booed off the stage
I’m blushing with nothing on
I’ll be gone!

Chorus: I’m all out of blush!
Can’t go on without rouge
My face isn’t right
The cheekbones are all wrong
I’m all in a rush
Cuz no one can watch you
Yes, I am obsessed
I’ll be on in one more song

Bridge: No…
Where can I find some blush?
My skin looks really flushed
“Honey don’t have to gush”
“You can have mine so hush”

Chorus: I fin’lly found blush
Thank goodness I found you
My visage looks tight
It’s almost like my thong
To perform is a rush
My dance moves will wow you
Must make them forget
That I really have a schlong

What a drag! Funny you should say Adam cause he totally made a movie in drag and called it "Jack and Jill" and it was absolutely terrible. This parody would make a much better film than that one was.

(Artistry) Well you certainly had an idea better than I could have done with this OS. Nice character sketch.

I'm blushing! seems like kind of a drag but at least they were able to save face! 5's

(Artistry) You seemed to have missed some ending choruses according to the video, but I'll let that slide as this parody was treading that very thin line between hilarious and unintentionally insensitive. Still this was pretty good, 555!

I agree with the above comment that it was drifting toward the unintentionally insensitive territory, but it still managed to be really funny. My only note would that I would change the title of your spoof, that way you get a bigger laugh out of the "all out of blush/so lost without rouge" lines (which are perfectly done btw) at the first chorus. Other than that, excellent work!

Just hope the WBC crazies doesn't read this...then again it would have been hilarious had that happens.
