The Lyrics

A Saturday morning mystery
The kids they all meddle ‘til the scheme’s through
Shaggy tokes on up another one
Daphne, Freddie get shag time
Velma gonna solve the case in time, it’s what they do
This is true

That scaredy-dog—ain’t no fighter
He would rather run than chase away his fear
Eat it—Scooby Snacks for you
Travel ‘round the world
A cartoon king, now this is who?
“Rooby Roo!” Yeah

Scooby Doo! Where are you?
Scoooby Doo! Got some work here to do
Scooby Doo! Where are you?
Get snacks here when you’re through
We solve all the riddles with Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo, be in my crew

Those were groovy pictures
Shaggy quite the guy
“Like hey,” don’t know why
Spun it off with Dynomutt
Scrappy brought the whole thing down
Scooby eat your chips, walk in this animated town
Don’t wear a frown

Scooby Doo! Where are you?
Scoooby Doo! I just wanna pet you
Scooby Doo, where are you?
Cartoon fun just made for you
We solve all the riddles with Scooby Doo

We’re all counting on you, Scooby Doo!

Perfect OS for writing about Scooby Doo, since both titles have quite a ring to it! And I love Scooby Doo. I also want to pet him too! Oops, I forgot I have a stuffed Scooby Doo that I won at Six Flags from 2003, so I can pet him at any time! I also dig his nephew Scrappy doo, from the cartoon and not the movie. When I was a kid, I used to be frightened of Shaggy because I thought he looked like a monster. Thanks to Hanna-Barbera for this awesome cartoon! This is one Mystery Machine that went into 'Maximum Overdrive' (The OS played for the Stephen King classic). Scooby Dooby Doo, Where Are You? Give Agri 3 sets of 5's! (Scooby Doo laugh): Heeheeeheeee

I always wanted to see Scooby get together with Astro and Muttley and have a conversation. Lovely job on this one.

hmmm.. .I have to be honest--didn't really get any big laughs out of this one, haven't seen an episode of Scooby Doo in a long time, excellent writing, but AC/DC does not seem to lend themselves easily to funny parodies. . .

(Artistry) Kinda simple, but it works. 555 Scooby Snacks for you (and a nice big bullet for Scrappy)!
