Parody Song Title:

"To Be Grover"

Parody Written by:

Porfle Popnecker

The Lyrics

He goes flailing down the Sesame Street
Skipping aimlessly like he's three

To be Grover
A, B, C
To be Grover

Hooper offers strudel on a fancy tray
All-day smores and choc-o-latte' cremes

Over, Rover
Finding there to here
To be Grover
Balance a ball on the buns that end you, oh

Trike, bike, one-wheeler
I'm learning, what's the diff'rence between left and right
Me soapy, new bath play today

Counting clovers
To twenty, know the score we hope we learn to say
Show sponsored, today's letter A

And for all, a jolly-filled agenda
And for all, with garlic sauce
Spaghetti do me love

Sunny day, sunny play
Sweep the clouds away-ay
Tell me where, here is there
Sesame Street

Come and play, come and stay
Everything is okay
Tell me where, here is there
Sesame Street

Air is sweet, neighbors meet
Tell me what they do say
Don't delay, on the way
Sesame Street

Sunny day, sunny play
Sweep the clouds away-ay
Tell me where, here is there
Sesame Street

One of the top 10 Sesame Street characters, but not sure where this was going. Last half seems like the familiar Sesame Street Intro... but, like the Count, I'm giving you THREE, Three Five's!!! Sedame Street Fun fact: the Count's favorite number was 34,969. Fact. Why? Because it is 187 squared. 187 is the American Police Code for murder. He was a vampire after all...

My fantasy is to hear Jon Anderson sing this.

This parody was great... and, like Grover, it's... cute, too!
