"Close To 'The Edge' - I. The Other Line Of Fame"

Parody Written by:

A seasoned fish could call you from the depths of your line place
Grab rearranged store liver to the salad, melon case
Then see guitarist U2 man came quickly from afar
Then pace the fruit aisle fast, retarded, losing cool against the flour

And assessing points to not stare, fearing ev'ry single one
Some food dropped can exploit us like the loser I've become
And take away the plan in which we move
And lose the course you're stalking
Frown at "The Edge", round by spring water
Got five filets, got five filets
Close to "The Edge", out buying dinner
Got five filets, got five filets

Crossed the line around exchanges/return counter
Reaching out to stall the other drummer guy
Passed out round a gross of holed, thin, corn ring crackers by the cheese
Getting closer all the time - I had to worry
Leaving all the bagels far from our speed line
We just leave the onions only to find out the master's lane

Frown at "The Edge", round by spring water
Close to "The Edge", just buying dinner
Reasons to pass dude by
I throw up, I get down

Now that it's all over and done
Now that you sighed, now you're a**h**e.

You know, this might make more sense than the original lyric. TOS is my all-time favorite piece of music, and I'm blown away by your pacing. 555 and a big round of "Clap". Oops...wrong Yes album. ;)

http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/yes4.shtml I really thought my version would stand alone. I'm actually glad you only did half of it so it sort of still does, but congrats for trying, and for being a Yes fan.

Thanks for the compliments, Ravyn... Rick, don't worry...there was no way I was gonna do the whole thing.
