The Lyrics

As I continue my own musical re-telling of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", Arthur has gained a few followers. Let us get down on the groove as the Knights of the Round Table tell a little bit about themselves! Let us also give a warm welcome to Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Parody! Enjoy! DKTOS?
[Bedevere]:
I used to spend most of my time just buried in books.
[Lancelot]:
I was so brave, skilled with a sword, but I couldn’t cook.
[Arthur]:
So I took these men under my wing,
And before we go do any significant things,
We must go on down to my castle!

[Chorus]:
Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
(Knights of Arthur go!)
And they’ll be sittin’ around
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!

Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
(Knights of Arthur go!)
And they’ll be sittin’ around
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!

[Galahad]:
Now listen,
All my friends thought I should be all I can be.
[Robin]:
They all say I’m not the bravest guy, but we shall see!
[Arthur]:
Now that I have got my knights together,
We’re going down in history forever!
But we must go down to my castle!

[Chorus]:
Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
(Knights of Arthur go!)
And they’ll be sittin’ around
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!
(Castle!)

Castle,
(Everybody sing!)
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
(Come on down! Come on down!)
And they’ll be sittin’ around
(Oh yeah!)
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!
(Everybody dance!)

Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
(Come on down! Come on down!)
And they’ll be sittin’ around
(Oh yeah!)
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!
(Everybody dance!)

(At the castle!
Clap your hands, clap your hands!
Sing it, people!
Get on down, get on down!)

[break]

Boogie, boogie, boogie, boogie! [x9]

(Everybody dance!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Just clap your hands!
Get on down! Just get on down!)

Boogie, boogie, boogie, boogie! [x5]
(Keep on, keep on, keep on)

Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
And they’ll be sittin’ around
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!

Castle,
That’s where the Knights of Arthur go!
And they’ll be sittin’ around
At that Table Round,
Down at the castle!

[repeat until fade]

Dylan - On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. 'Tis a silly place. ;D

Always good to see Pyton(Monty) parodies. Keep them coming, good sir knight. I wrote a few myself a while back:
I Ran (The Saga of Sir Robin)http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/flockofseagulls7.shtml
None Shall Pass (The Black Knight) http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/jethrotull52.shtml
She's A Witch (Bedevere the Brain) http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/eltonjohn365.shtml
So, brave Dylan, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, read them not, for death awaits you with nasty, big, pointy teeth.
