The Lyrics

There's just something about this melody that haunts me...Am I weird ? ..or what ? HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I smiled to myself, the way they toddled
Goblins scurry pumpkin streets
Chanting words in rhythm - Trick or Treat !

Forewarned, they group upon us
Bowls of candy hauled out to appease
Halloween tradition - Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat , they repeat
Trick or Treat , Trick or Treat
Quickly make decision - Trick or Treat ?

Who thanks the good, kind-hearted people
For letting them pick out a sweet ?
Happy little campers - Snickers treat !

From that day it first started, Medicine's advanced kids Dentistry
Cavity extractors - Quicker speeds

Fix you needs , expertise
Deeper freeze , bigger fees $
Yank out all your Wisdoms - Nix your bleeds

Cleverly..Beggars spree
Every.. Beggar's free
To eat things unwholesome. . Beggars see

( instrumental long enough to brush your choppers )

Mystery - skitter leaves
Wizardry - a shiver breeze
On the wind, brooms ridden - Hallowed eves

They're losin' sight , they're drowsy
The Harvest Moonlight drains energy
Gorge on goodies tomorrow - Calories !

One last house, playing spooky music
Monsters scare 'em easily
Do fast exorcism, soles are beat

Trick or Treat , smell my feet
Gimmie something damn good to eat
Hope that someone answers - This ain't neat

Trick or Treat , Bet they're cheap
Off goes sheet , you need a seat
Open door and walk in -Your folks asleep

Thanks AFW...

Not bad; funny in places. However, I found a little of your pacing off, and some of your choices of words cumbersome and halted. Still, not bad. Aim for a smoother flow of words. 4-4-4.

I appreciate your sincerity, Melanie Lee.Thank you for your input...I'll take a "not bad "any day of the ,week...This slow melody makes me wanna hehe slumbersome , yet that didn't stop me...I don't fall into that pacing trap as much as I used to...and will.always go with what my gut says...Great lengths have I gone to (must have used up least a minute or two) to find the best, most neatest words imaginable; to fit and fill this small space with as much entertainment that it could possibly hold...and believe you me Melanie, there just aren't nun better ...Come this Wednesday/karaoke night I will air it out and maybe annoy a few people (hopefully not)....I am known far and wide so I won't let anyone know I'm coming...Wish me luck and oh yeah, thanks again
