Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Thanks to Mr. Arndt for placing his own B-52's parody on the site earlier this week, which got me thinking about something nefarious.
Not familiar with the original? Rock Lobster- B-52s
Loved her fam’ly heaps
Did her shopping chores after hours
She always looked out for a cop
For meals she’d plot a lot
Had picks for a lock
She’s a mom mobster

Yumm
Mom mobster
Yumm
Mom mobster

Mom mo-o-obster
Mom mo-o-obster

Chokin’ and garrotin’
Our laws she broke
Cops befuddled
Girl was subtle
She would make a jam
While planning giant scam!

Mom, mom
Mom mobster!
Growl…growl…

Mobster
Mom
Mobster
Go mom

Baked scaloppini
Cleaned and washed floors
Busy little mommy
Handy with a Tommy.

Lady never tired, lovin’ mom
Takin’ dineros
Lootin’
Just for fun

Chomped on her cee-gar
Blew up police car
Lass was cunning mother

She makes a soufflé
(so hot, so hot)
She drives a getaway
(screech screech screech)
She knows a blanket stitch
(whirrrrr)
Knew how to bait/switch
(yo-yo)
She hated blab snitch
(tattle rat a rat a rat)
Did all the veg choppin'
(ch ch ch ch)
Long walks with her chihuahua
(yippy yippy yahoo)
She packed a pistol
(click)
Thus ends an unseemly tale
(Bang!)

Mom mobster
Mom mobster
Mob momster
Mob momster….

Thanks again, Rob, for the post. The title came to me instantly, and I couldn't let it go. Tough lyric since rhyming and rhythm are almost completely missing from the song. OMR, no one was harmed in the execution of this parody...at least there weren't any witnesses ;-). Bruno, thanks for the comments. Check out the original; it's a hoot. And AFW, much appreciated, but we mobsters don't 'whack' anymore. We end relationships with extreme prejudice.

Niiiice work! Made me think of Ma Baker... is that who the parody's about? I agree TOS doesn't have much ryhming or rhythm in it, so bonus points for doing such a great job on it. 555!
