Alvin, I'll say it now, congratulations for writing so many parodies, I'll be waving goodbye to you like I have done to many others, as far as writing more than me--that's okay, just remember some of the bums you've passed on your way to stardom.

alvin - I actually really liked High School - I went to Dorsey High here in the Los Angeles area (Crenshaw District, roughly) until I moved in the middle of the 11th grade. It was very multi-cultural back then (1965-1966) and it seemed most everyone got along except some fringe-groups who didn't seem to like anybody much, including themselves. Then I went to lilly-white Van Nuys High in the Valley...snnooorrrre...boorrriiinnnnggg.....and aggravating, too, when I found out that it was due to some severe gerry-mandering and not because, as I originally (and incorrectly) assumed, black folks did not live in the Valley. Actually, quite a few did but somehow the Local Powers That Be engineered a way to send black kids to San Fernando High, even when they lived on the same Street as white kids (a friend on mine, white/Jewish lived on such a street) who went to Van Nuys. Of course, the end result of all this BS was busing, and I'm not sure how well served anybody was by that...but if you want to know one of the reasons why it was mandated, well, here it is...pushing my soapbox back in the garage now...it's an old one and a board is about to break under me...OH...alvin...YOUR parody...well, it was good enough to bring back some rather interesting thoughts about my High School days, to say the least. Got some dusty old Green & White Dorsey Don "5's" for ya...California High School State Champions in Track & Field in 1965 & 1966, ya' know!!

Great parody of a great OS (I can still remember Tia Carrere's cover in the movie "Wayne's World"). And I wholeheartedly agree with what the parody is about. Too bad you didn't get around to mentioning Dostoyevsky... or John Knowles... ick.
