This is another NASCAR parody, my second one of 2015, and it's a spin on Stompin' Tom Connors' 1973 hit, "The Hockey Song", also known as "Good Old Hockey Game". Here, NASCAR is the "good old stock car race".

The tension grows, the green flag shows, and Dale Jr.'s out of sight
Jeff hits a bump with a giant thump as he starts the high-speed chase
'Cause there's no crowd like the one you find at a good old stock car race
Well, a good old stock car race isn't just a high-speed chase
It's not just a high-speed chase, it's a good old stock car race
The leaders dash by in a flash, with Junior close behind
The eighty-eight's up to 4th place; I'm about to lose my mind
Danica is off the track; she just can't keep the pace
Just a hundred laps left to run in this good old stock car race
