I have to jump on this one right away. Love, love this song! My absolute favorite Steely Dan song. It is absolutely perfect for this sub & parody, Alvin. Fantastic work! *Check out the live version of this song as a bonus track on Steely Dan Gold. It has the funniest drunken intro that I have ever heard in my life! It was one of their roadies.

Alvin - a while back I was doing a lot of the Dan's songs. I never could get an idea for "Bodhisattva". Leave to old Alvin and he'll make it happen. Excellent execution and a great title idea and follow through. But what an idiot that Bodhisattva was. He and three friends found Norvana and what does he do? He roams the desert for all his days telling everyone where it is. By now it probably has urban sprawl, gangs, drugs and everything else that inner city charm has. Fine write sir.
