The Lyrics

An everblasting slammer,
They were posting comments fast.
And they grab ahold of something,
As they use it to harass.
Got no problem with my rhymin',
It wasn't in their plan.
They're barely semi-concious.
And don't understand.

They were fearing for the queers,
Riding on their dime.
I don't think they want your tears,
What we write here is no crime.

You're all thinking this comes from meanness,
You all think you're sense is keen.
And ever since my debut,
I've been writing things obscene.
Didn't learn this stuff in college,
But from all the years I've spanned.
I picked up all this knowledge,
That's how I understand.

They were fearing for the queers,
Riding on their dime.
I don't think they want your tears,
What we write here is no crime.

I'm glad that words aren't money,
And no money's worth the time.
I hope you all feel jolly good,
Your PC's so refinded.
And if I said it was obscene,
For a man to love a man.
You can call my writings useless,
Cause I don't give a damn.

They were fearing for the queers,
Riding on their dime.
I don't think they want your tears,
What we write here is no crime.

Clever riposte. Proves you don't need to write lyrics in questionable taste to be entertaining.

Hey Guy! Don't take it so personally. You have a lot of respect on this site and supporters. You could just be making it worse with follow up parodies like this.

Guy is one of the best, he can write anything well. Even if you don't agree with every sediment, he's the master parodist.

I agree with Wild Man that Guy is one of the best. I also agree with the word "sediment". Sometimes he sinks to the bottom. (Just teasing, WM)

The top or bottom is just a matter of the readers perpective. I would hope that we have a good diversity of writers and views on this site. Reading others opinions, adds another interesting dimention. I'm happy to see that people are being honest about their views , however we should refrain from personal attacks on the authors. Too many people dis pacing, and quaility, If you don't find the parody to be humorous, then you can press the not funny button.

Guy, another 'just for the record': I never meant to imply that you should ever be censored. You do have quite a skill for parody, and I hope you can post whatever you want. I don't back off my previous criticisms because I believe in what I said , but I never meant to cause you any censorship problems. Also, thanks for your concern about my father.

Thank you Jay and you should not back off your convictions unless you voluntarily change them. I can respect anyone's convictions and only ask that mine be respected mutally. And I do respect your convictions so lets just aggree to disagree and enjoy the site as it was meant to me. Robert Pagliaro and I do not see eye to eye on most things but we always manage to find some middle ground. You will find that I am this way if given a chance. I do change modes when I write. My writing world is compartmented or I want it to be compartmented from the real world. Sometimes these two worlds intermix and the escape world that I write in bleeds into this one. I do a lot of things out here just for the sake of stirring the pot. I am ornery that way and always have been. Thanks again for your honesty and candor and thanks for the compliment on my writing. Hope your dad is recovering well. I included him in my prayers.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. Parodies are parodies. Not to be taken seriously. I thought it was good, Guy.
