The Lyrics

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMAIsqvTh7g
Well, these bozos are to blame for our plight
They've got us reeling and jumping from heights
I despair and brace to fall through the air
And I'm tumbling as I dump all my shares

Down goes the S & P
Brokers taking flight
Here I am stuck with the fiscal cliff blues

Yes, my buck's gettin' riddled with poo
And I'm gonna throw a fit, I'm just screwed
Disregard for people riled by this fate
Ruing (the) trolls, yeah, the malodorous flakes

Dow gets the best of me
Brokers full of fright
Here I am stuck with the fiscal cliff blues

Well, they startle all with bluffin'
And their touted cures, just Hell-based scams
At the Fed they all are calling
Crap-shoot in their plans, they say:

"Ea-ea-ea-ea-ea-ease!"
"Ea-ea-ea-ea-ea-ease!"

Trying to raise a fence or a wall
But I foresee that it breaks nobody's fall
Rigid tools, too slow, too weak for the chore
Bright red ink that we all face as it pours

Down mood, it gets to me
Hope for boom is slight
Here I am, suckin' a fifth of stiff booze

[Instrumental break]

Well, you're scarred and toss your muffins
As you're pounded, and your helpmate scrams
Then your pension takes a mauling
Whacked, you get the shaft, you say:

"Je-ee-ee-ee-ee-eeze!"
"Je-ee-ee-ee-ee-eeze!"

Yeah, we all know who's to blame for this plight
These stubborn leaders, all bumbling, ain't bright
As the bears embrace the fall of my shares
And I'm wond'ring if I'll get Medicare

Clowns on the left, you see
Jokers on the right
Here I am, stuck with the fiscal cliff blues
Yes, I'm drunk on a fifth of stiff booze
Stuck, as I'm riddled with ooze
Here I am, sunk by the fiscal cliff blues

I was trying to think of something to do with the term but couldn't come up with anything. Nice job.

Outstanding! "Clowns on the left ... Jokers on the right" sums up the situation very well. I'm thinking that the clowns on the left deserve a bit more blame than the jokers on the right, but they both deserve a ton of it.

This will only get worse and my stash of gold will be worth more when they do the next easing. Heh, heh.

Fine job, glad to see these blues are non-partisan

Brilliant. Congress is looking at this "cliff" as though it were a hurricane or an act of God, rather than an act of men who think they are God. We don't need term limits, we need recall. 100% of the current House and Senate promoted back to the private sector, now! And take Obama with you!
