Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Why do some Dems turn against me?
Why do they stray from the “core”?
Don't they know that it’s Obama’s world?
They don’t stand with me anymore…

Once, I had millions agreeing
With everything I spoke of
Now grumblings rumble; they crumble my world.
And I’m no longer so beloved.

I wake up in the morning and I wonder
Why Rahm can’t twist more arms than he does.
I can't understand. Press is out of my hands…
Why no more “warm and fuzzy” buzz?

GOP we were defeating
‘Til stimulus went awry
My health care bill is now stalled on the Hill
Approval rating, not so high

Leftist sheep no longer bleating*
Wonder if they’ve recognized
Though they voted for ‘Bama’s New World
They ended up with Captain Bligh.

Time moves so quickly these days that Obama must be getting nostalgic for the good old days of six months ago. Nice take on a melancholy melody.

Great spoofing...and I bet that, unlike Skeeter, you don't pronounce 'end" as "iinnndd."

I'm an Obama man, but this still gets a hand

Very well executed parody, Fiddlegirl! Perfect OS you chose to spoof about politics/current events! Worked very well with it. I could imagine Skeeter Davis (though I don't listen to her music often) singing your parody! It's all good! 5's!

All right, this is getting ridiculous -- I've actually had that concept in the wack of my mind for a while -- but since I think it's break time for Bonzo, thanks for executing it so well.

For the record, I do *not* date Left-wing sheep. I've been a registered Lambertarian since I was old enough to vote (true), so no offense taken. Have at them! ... uhhh, maybe not in quite the same way?

Once Obamacare passes -- and it will pass -- it'll be the end of the world as you know it, but the rest of us will feel fine.

Uh, it's been six months since your prediction, Michael, and Obama's admiTTed that his plan is as good as dead, and that he must start over, this time working with (gasp!) the other_party, and *listening* (gasp! gasp!) to the concerns raised by millions of the American people.

Ball in your court, Sir. Next prediction?
