The Lyrics

Not trying to make fun of large people or eating disorders here. This parody was hatched during Vegas week. My wife and I were comped to the buffet every day at the hotel where we stayed. And that wasn’t just one meal a day, it was breakfast, lunch and dinner if we desired. And we usually did! We were joking one day about how much we would weigh if this was available to us every day for the rest of our lives. We concluded that we would be quite large. So naturally, this parody takes it to the nth degree. Mostly at her expense but it could just as easily be me too. Bon appetit!
Oak That Eclipses Light

Huge hefty rear on your way to larger size
You stuffed your mug nightly with cookies and pies
Although I’ve been growin’ too, why, you make me look almost slight
‘Cause your thighs have the width of an oak that eclipses light

Pork on a bun and with one big bite all gone, down pie hole
Then you eat three pies, ice cream on the side and sticky rolls
This thing, it’s a shame, when you graze through your days, eat cakes whole
And eclipsing the light fuels my pain in your plight, of control

This gorgin’ and porkin’, you try settin’ and gettin’ broke chair
You go snack up, pounds stack up, attack sup
And eat steak rare
(Your best old jeans won’t fit you) Legs are too stout
Then you down your ice cream float right out of the spout

Why must you eat doughnuts between all the meals of deep fry?
Been filling your ass with high fat, melting butter, sweet pies
You’re quite the load and you just might explode with next bite
‘Cause your thighs have the width of an oak that eclipses light

Girl, your thighs have the width of an oak that eclipses light
(Girl, your thighs have the width of an oak that eclipses light)
Girl, you might want to pick Diet Coke™ and make the switch to Lite™
(Girl, you might want to pick Diet Coke™ and make the switch to Lite™)
Girl, your thighs have the width of an oak that just brings me fright
(Width in your thighs it just brings me fright)
Girl, your thighs have the width of an oak that ecliiiiiiipse……
Eclipses light!

I remember that OS from wayyy back in my managing record store days. The parody "fit' well. 555 pounds lost. I took on weight in; http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/creedenceclearwaterrevival136.shtml and http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thebeatles2349.shtml

Nice job on a great and nearly unknown OS.

You have an offbeat style that is good..and I think that's what this game is all about

Mark: Thanks for wieghing in, those parodies are both Heavy Duty.

John: Thanks, the song is definitely underrated, the vocals are outstanding, IMHO.

AFW: Thanks...I think, LOL. Yes, I think I do march to a drummer that no one else can hear. ;-)

TJC: Thanks, LOL. That makes me hungry for a "Cheeseburger in Paradise."
