This parody is about the "so very" 1989 movie "Heathers" with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. For more information: click here, or watch it to fully understand the parody. I decided on this OS and topic because I am a fairly big fan of both Rush and Heathers (I saw that movie recently and loved it!).
There is trouble with the Heathers
They're a girl group full of sleaze
For Veronica wants them gone
Heather 1 ignores her pleas.
The trouble with the Heathers
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
At a happenin' college keg party
Heather 1 and Veronica fight.
To J.D. she vents frustration
So they poisoned Heather's joe
Heather Chandler chugged it all down
Then she dropped dead on the floor
There is trouble in the high school
"Suicide" runs rampantly
It's really murder, no digression
Disguised as felo-de-se
So Veronica tried to dump him
But here J.D. lost his mind
He was killing popular students
It’s Veronica's turn to die
She lived but J.D. is finished
To his chest he strapped a bomb
Here ends the final reckoning
Of rebels, girls, and prom!

By the way, this is not supposed to be lightly funny, "Heathers" is a very dark movie, so I just need to tell it like it is, and "felo-de-se" is an archaic legal term for suicide.

I did need an explanation -- not because of "Heathers," which is a great movie, but because I can't stand Rush and DKTOS. (I know, I know: "What's your damage, Mike?") As far as I know, this is the first "Heathers" parody on the site, and now, your teen angst BS has a count of 5.
Great to have you back, carly! Dark? Yes, VERY! I've been struggling to come up with a suitable comment. The best I can do is to recall a song from Brigadoon (The Heather On The Hill) and dub your fine parody "The Heathers That They Kill." ;D
I like Rush and I like the film 'Heathers'. There are a lot of annoying girls at my niece's school and she could do to sort them out as in the film!
